What is the general scientific name for moss or Lichen?

I know it's long. Or one of them is...

I mostly need the name for lichen although moss would also be helpful.

What is the general scientific name for moss or Lichen?
Moss is just Bryophyta

But Lichens are actually fungis and algea.
Reply:The name for the moss is funaria hygrometrica.

On the other hand, lichens are not just one species but are a combination of fungi and algae which work mutualistically together.

They are usually refferred to by the name of the fungal species. An example is Xanthoria elegans
Reply:Tristan is right, lichens are not classified as anything anymore.

Once upon a time though, they were classified as Mycophycophyta (maybe that's the long word you were thinking of?). But that practice ended a while ago.
