I am planning to plant one near my home, i just need to know the size of the roots before i plant it to avoid future problems.

What size/diameter can the roots of a traveler's palm ( scientific name: Ravenala madagascariensis) reach. ?
the roots would be large. its a big tree. but that shouldn't do any damage to your house tho. the website given should tell you everything you need to know. at the bottom of the page, look at what the ppl who own the tree have to say. if they had problems with the tree or roots or anything they will say.
