Can anyone tell me about scientific name : semaprochilodus insignis breeding?
Family: Prochilodontidae

SubFamily: Curimatidae

Order: Characiformes (American Characins)

Synonyms: Chilodus insignia, Prochilodus insignis

Habitat: South America.

Peaceful, schooling omnivore.

By the way a sailfin moly is a live bearer: Poecillia velifera
Reply:Unknown in aquaria. In the wild they migrate to spawning grounds (i.e. they are Potamodromous).
Reply:It's a Sailfinmolly. They make a good science project for high school. eg. Can a fish live in fresh and salt water?
