What is the medical/scientific name for Ibuprofen?

I am doing a science project, and i can't find this. Please list where you got this from/sources.

What is the medical/scientific name for Ibuprofen?
alpha-Methyl-4-(2-methylpropyl)benzeneac... acid; p-Isobutylhydratropic acid

Wikipedia says:

Ibuprofen (INN), from the now outdated nomenclature iso-butyl-propanoic-phenolic acid...
Reply:heheheh thats the technical name: Ibuprofen

:D

The IUPAC name is 2-[4-(2-methylpropyl)phenyl]propanoic acid

that reads:

two four two methylpropylphenil propanoic acid

Reply:Do you mean the systematic (IUPAC) name: 2- [4- (2-methylpropyl) phenyl] propanoic acid? Or the formula C13H18O2 ?

Wikipedia is your friend. So is Google. Did you try either one of them?
