Does anyone know the scientific name for the local tx pest fish known polliwogs or mudcats?

I am trying to do a report of these fish but I dont know their scientific name to look them up. I put pollywogs in the wikipedia and the result was tadpoles, then I put mudcat in there and showed a yellow catfish, which isnt a pest fish but a widely fished one. I know somebody has the answer.

In Texas, the common name of Polliwog or Chucklehead Cat is sometimes used for either the Black Bullhead Catfish (Ameiurus melas) or the Yellow Bullhead (Ameiurus natalis).

These are native fish to Texas and much of North America, and aren't really considered pest species. They are not as desired by anglers as other catfish, like the flathead or channel cat, but they wouldn't be targeted as a nuisance species.

There are introduced exotic species in Texas that can cause problems in lakes and waterways, such as the grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) and the common carp (Cyprinus carpio). These can cause considerable damage to native ecosystems.
