What is the scientific name of the earthworm and leech.?

I am looking for the most common earthworm and leech found.

the scientific name of common earthworm is phertima posthuma and leeches are included under the class hirudinea,hirudinaria is the example.coelom is filled with a special tissue called botryoidal tissue.

Reply:Lumbricus terrestris is the most common US species ( there are 1800 known species) of earthworm.


Leeches are annelid worms of the class Hirudinea (300 known species).

Reply:The leech is Hirudo Medicinalis Linnaeus, from the Hirudinidae family. The worm is Spirurida, from the filariida family.
