What is the desert scorpions scientific name?

the desert scorpion that i have at home i want to know the scientific name for it. I think the name of my scorpion is the desert scopion not the dester hairy scorpion because my scorpion is not hairy.

What is the desert scorpions scientific name?
No scorpion is "hairy." Many are called hairy for other reasons, or because they have more hair, or setae, than other scorpions. But it is not possible to tell you what kind of scorpion you have from the information given. A picture would help, but the only real way to know is to look at the reproductive organs under a microscope. This requires years of study to identify them. It is possible to get close, such as the family, but not specific species. Also, there could be many different types of scorpions by the same common name. I would suggest buying a book or doing some internet research. Talking to someone who studies them or works at a zoo or something might also help, but that can take time and also it might be hard to get in touch. But hope this helps.
Reply:Answer #1 is great, you just have to do your own research.
