What is the scientific name of a normal morph corn snake?

I am doing a school project and I need to know. Thanks!

What is the scientific name of a normal morph corn snake?
Pantherophis guttata guttata. It used to be Elaphe guttata guttata but was reclassified. The reason for the change is because both new world and old world rat snakes were listed under the genus Elaphe, but scientists determined that they were not closely related enough to be in the same genus, so new world rat snakes were reclassified with the new genus of Pantherophis while old world rat snakes retain the Elaphe genus.
Reply:Hiya !

Every reference book I have classifies the Corn Snake as Elaphe Guttata Guttata.

Hope this helps !
Reply:The scientific name for the corn snake is (Elaphe guttata guttata), although it may be reclassified as (Pantherophis guttata guttata).
