What is the scientific name of a bush with flowers that look like a butterfly?

We call it a butterfly bush.

What is the scientific name of a bush with flowers that look like a butterfly?
Well, since I dont have a picture of what the bush actually looks like, my guess would be Gaura.

also called Butterfly Tree, Orchid Tree, Mountain Ebony. Common to all bauhinias are the twin leaves actually twin lobes.


Bauhinias grow in Hawaii, and mild-winter areas of California.The flowers are orchid-like.

I would guess this is it.





By the way buddleia, called butterfly bush, is because it attracts butterflies, not because it looks like them.
